DUBAI, UAE, 30 Apr 2024: Embed, the ultimate cloud-based, cashless solutions provider for the amusement, entertainment, and leisure industries is heading to KSA to showcase its roster of SaaS solutions, as well as other breakthrough innovations at the SEA Expo 2024.
With growing tourism in Saudi Arabia, there is a rapid market expansion for family entertainment centers, projected to grow at a CAGR of 12.4% between 2022-2028. “These are truly exciting times in the MENA region, especially in KSA” says Renee Welsh, CEO at Embed. “Under His Royal Highness’ Vision 2030, building KSA’s Quality of Life Program through vibrant experiences in tourism, hospitality, and family entertainment puts us in a strategic position to help realise the goal through our cashless solutions,” she continues.”
“This is why we will be fronting our Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions at the SEA Expo,” explains Saeed Abdillahi, EMEA Regional Sales Manager at Embed. “Our award-winning Mobile Wallet virtual game card and STATS business intelligence dashboard are designed as a response to the growing consumer demand for safer and faster transactions; likewise, for operators seeking higher profitability from reloads and return visits, and more business visibility through data. This way, guests can get more out of their time spent in FECs and do what they came there to do – play and have fun – and our operators can take a step back and enjoy transformational business growth.
Embed’s Mobile Wallet 2022-2023 metric results from its customers show a whopping 5x increase in average reload value ($50.57) compared to cash ($9.90) and credit card ($31.95), with 60% of reloads happening before guests arrive at the FEC. Last year, the Mobile Wallet enabled Majid Al Futtaim’s Magic Planet to win the Most Innovative Application of Technology at the 2023 MENALAC Awards.
With STATS, the business intelligence dashboard powered by Amazon Web Services, operators have real-time visibility to their FEC data like game performance, revenue prediction based on retro data, inventory, and even manpower allocation.
Embed is also set to showcase its latest innovations like the smarter, faster, and supercharged smartTOUCH™+ on its SEA Expo debut, with its supercharged 512 MB DDR3 RAM; faster 528 Mhz processing power; supersized 4 GB storage; super signal at 23 dBm; and data transmission at 2.4 and 5 Ghz.
With network outages, system integrations, stability, outdated tech, and commitment issues prevalent in a number of FECs in the MENA region , the reliability of solutions providers is a crucial factor to future-proof businesses and ensure a superior guest experience:
“Embed’s system architecture is built to work even during network outages,” comments CTO Andy Welsh. “At a time when system reliability is a hot topic in the industry, we are in a strategic position to respond to the industry’s need for reliable tech partners they can trust; we’re a solutions provider that partners with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for their data centres and tech development, that’s why we’re confident that the Embed family of FECs is in good hands.”
