Dallas, TX – May 2012 – EMBED, a leading provider of Debit Card and Point of Sale Systems for the amusement and family entertainment industry, announces a record number of locations have converted their systems and switched to Embed in the last 16 months. More than 20 locations around the world have replaced underperforming or outdated systems with the Embed Card System during this time.
In the US this includes Game Time in Oregon, The Works at Wyomissing in PA, Massanutten Resort (Diamond Jim’s Arcade) in VA, and Mohegan Sun Cyber Quest in CT. In the Middle East Landmark Funcity has converted multiple sites to Embed and Magic Planet have upgraded 2 of their locations in Egypt. The company notes new project sales and other system implementations are at an all-time high as well.
"The value the Embed card system has added to our business over the past year has been tremendous,” stated Christine Buhr, President of Shakers Fun Centre in Alberta, Canada and another operator that has recently converted to Embed. “With Embed, we have virtually removed daily game floor staff as the system runs itself.” Merrik Keller, Sales Manager for Embed USA, adds, “We are pleased to be the company that so many operators turn to when their needs are not being met by other solutions. We are confident the investment in Embed will prove to be a long-standing and safe choice for these customers, and one that delivers a true return on their investment.”
The Embed Systems are used to manage the cashless operation of games as well as the extensive redemption counters in many locations. Installations are highlighted by Embed’s Color-Glo HD line of wireless Swipers, with guests purchasing branded play cards at any number of Point of Sale Stations and Self Service Kiosks located throughout the venues.
With offices in the USA, UAE, UK, and Australia, Embed provides systems that are a total operating solution for any entertainment facility. Embed Systems allow for admissions control, machine monitoring, cashless operation of games and attractions, retail, food and beverage sales, loyalty systems, full prize redemption management, and integrated event scheduling.
